Friends was the kind of mindless fluff that drove me away from mainstream TV. I watch mostly news channels, TechTV, occasional movies, TVLand, some international stuff. TV is only a waste of time if you let it be (I owe half my computer knowlege to Leo Laporte
). I've got 1000 or so satellite channels to surf so fortunately I'm never stuck with sheeple entertainment. The CBS Monday night comedies (Raymond, Still Standing) are the only sitcoms I watch with any sort of regularity. If I'm home at 9PM I catch 2 episodes of "Who's Line is it Anyway" on ABC Family. Now
that's comedy! Shame it's no longer in production.
