My wife and I are both 40 - and we watch her kids struggle with college and 'starting a real life' and have discussed the fact that we'd HATE to be *very* young again (especially '13' like her youngest) because it DOES "get better" as you get older - well, except when you're trying to climb a long flight of stairs...
