Open domain sales threads are always entertaining. Different opinions + different valuations = lively conversation.
I was reading a thread on another message board (a domain sales message board) where a lot of people had little idea about adult domains. Many were dumbfounded that the recently dropped
thumbpost.com was in auction with a high bid of over $4,000 (and climbing) and suggested the name had little value.
That made for a nice chuckle.
You got some nice names here, Freak. It's not uncommon for sellers to list their names high and end up coming back to the market. It allows them to make several nice bumps with "prices slashed" messages.
Of course, some go the other way and agreed upon prices end up higher that the seller originally was asking for. You never really know until you test the market.
