We bought a small ranch a couple of years ago in North Florida, but ended up selling it last year, because we couldn't stay in the area.
We had chickens, fresh eggs every morning, over 250 grape plants, plums, 2 horses... It was a lot of fun, and a very lovely and peaceful place.
We're thinking of buying one in Mexico, with a couple of cows to have fresh milk, chickens, ducks, etc., probably a year from now.

I'm a city guy, but I love the country, and there is nothing that compares to that fresh air and sense of freedom.
So, I was wondering: has anyone here lived in a ranch before? What is your opinion about ranches?
