I always use "Self Employed / Internet Marketing & Sales"

and ya, if they ask what I sell I say "traffic".. And then if they ask me further then I'll just say a stupid story about how all online stores have affiliate programs including ebay & amazon. All I do is create sites that are nothing more than sales tools to recieve the traffic, adverties there products and therefore send them traffic. They pay me commission on sales I generate...so techniqually I'm buying and selling them traffic..

By that point they are usually like "wow, sounds interesting, good for you" and then they leave me alone
