Just keep in mind that in the long run conservatives always lose. It's a fact with a tremendous amount of historical evidence.
If conservatives got their way we would still be living in caves. We would have no industrial or technilogical revolutions. We'd have no phones, modern medicine or television.
Conservatives are too busy trying to hang onto the past for dear life.
Everything that was once new was also a liberal idea. There are many out there who are afraid of people's openess to sexuality and societys flaunting of sex. But there are also many people who will not give up their right to enjoy it.
