I've got the VX2000 and I've done a little experimentation shooting in diffierent modes. As much as I love the Sony products I wish they'd come out with a camera with a higher frame rate in progressive scan mode. The screen caps in progressive scan do look incredible and 15FPS is fine for web based video. However, if you try to cut a video (VHS or DVD) to be watched on a television it has a very bizarre effect (I guess you could say it's kinda jerky).
