Basketball and baseball contracts are 5-10x what a football player makes...
And last the poor Hockey players that loose teeth like I loose change get less pay than all of the above...

It has little to do with the physical nature of it, as it does who else can make a dime off their play.
Golfers make more in endorsements than for actually playing
Top Basketball players make more from shoe deals then playing
MLB and the NFL have outrageous TV contracts (or their own networks) that are paying their salaries
Hockey gets shit because they draw shit. Everything that makes hockey exciting to watch is bad for tv because they don't want to show fighting, and there's too much non-stop action for commercials, and lets face it the average person doesn't run out and buy hockey equipment n a regular basis like basketball shoes. It's all about who else can make a buck off the game, and hockey hasn't figured out a way to do that yet. Maybe they're all just too dumb.....Like me, who keeps renewing my NY Rangers season tickets
