I agree we should not have gone there I served 8 years in the Marines and Army. I trained to do this for years.
however if we walked away from there like everyone wants and pulled our aid it would be 10 times worse there would become a civil war and neigboring countries who are all of different tribes sunnis, kurds, shiites they would all try to get a piece too not the country itself but the fundamentalist would beging invading even more

Sadam did do one thing right he had the country on lockdown and controlled everything so that these radicals could not take over the country However he was one of those radicals that took the country himself he just was able to keep anyone else from taking it (neighbors telling on neighbors out of fear because they know) shit like that
the thing we did wrong was removed him without a way to keep the controll of the boarders in place so that these radicals could not get in and start the upheaval
