Like I could stay on my porch and hear the cries of an animal in distress and ignore it....take it to the vet and have no attachment.
Honestly, I always had siamese cats, and this was my first mutt and she has become one of my favorites actually.
THEN, a month later at my other home in the burbs I was checking out the hurricane damage and up walked a stray kitten and of course I had to keep that one.
My point is I am so sorry I limited myself to pedigree cats all my life. I like these urban feral's :-))
