I really dont find anything nasty about it to be honest, people dig for a reason (shit in their nose). If that person doesnt take it out, then who will?
I cannot say that i've done any hardcore digging lately though, my nose has been fine. The only time I find myself digging is when i'm in a dusty area, and the dust builds up inside my nose.
