shit... where do i start???
yes, ive been brewing for years, its fucking great. what would you like to brew? ale, lager, stout, porter, wine, methaglin?
You dont really need a kit, however, some people make amateur kits out of (2) 5 gal. buckets, modified with spiggots, airlock, etc...
I recommend finding one of those... they usually come with a capper, bag of caps, airlock, guide, thermometer, and all the other shit you need.
Then you will need a recipe that will call for malt, hops, yeast, sugar, etc... you will boil your mash in 2 1/2 gallons of water for awhile, then transfer that to another 2 1/2 gallons of water, cap, add yeast, put in closet for 2 weeks.
If your mix hasnt blown its load (and if it does, just put cap back on and cleanup the crud.) you are now ready to bottle the beer, cap it and let it sit for another 2 weeks.
whallah, you have beer!
