You are correct...no fucking clue. It has been reported that Iraqi's have pretended to be wounded/dead to draw our troops in and then have attacked them. It has been reported that Iraqi's have booby trapped their dead so that when moved they will blow up those attempting to move them. When ones life is on the line...one uses their descretion to protect their lives.
In this instance...the troop involved will be duly investigated...with the results being a Courts Martial...or not.
