In many cases religion makes individuals into better people. Without it they would be lost and worse off.. Ive seen some pretty fucked up people who became stable after religion.. Sure there are a shitload of freaks out there from EVERY religion, but I assure you there are a lot of fucked up people out there that would be even more fucked up in society without religion.
If it makes someone into a better person after they become religious more power to em.. I?m happy for em.
But yeah I hear ya. No one likes another individual?s values, morals or religion pushed upon them.... Especially if it's a government trying to impose those values upon you.
But ya gotta realize even though you don?t find yourself as a "religious" person your values and your tone of voice in your post here is just as bad as that of an opinionated religious person. Telling people what?s right and wrong and that if they don?t agree with you they are stupid is just as bad as those you are bitching about.
I?ve seen Atheists that are just as annoying or even as worse the average religious person.. Seem Atheism breeds just as many opinionated idiots as any organized religion does. Hence this post.
