That was completely staged propaganda and everyone knows it. Don't tell me you still believed Bush when he said the Iraqi's would welcome us with open arms. If Saddam was included in their election he would most likely win.
Yep, lying to invade a country is always a good thing.
The sanctions were more like US sanctions. It was the sanctions that were responsible for the deaths of millions. It was the sanctions that turned Iraq from a modern society to a less than a third world country.
