White dragons are more friendlier than black dragons. Don't get ice dragons since you'll have to get a big freezer or move to the North Pole. Red dragons like volcanoes so you might have to move near Mount Saint Helen's. Make sure you keep any dragonslayers by the name of George away from them. Some prefer virgins and they can be picky at times. If you can find a shapechanging dragon, they are best, especially if they are of the opposite sex than their owners.
