#1 We manufacture our own server cases and purchase parts directly from IBM, Intel, Tyan, Samsung, and a few other companies. I can build a Dual CPU, Dual 60GB Disks, 1GB RAM, plus a 300 Watt powersupply for under $1000. This means we are saving money and passing it on to our customers.
#2 We provide our customers with up to date information on their servers from a web browser. We also have a remote reboot feature. Our customers probably call our 24/7 phone, email, and ICQ support lines a lot less then they would call yours.
#3 Bandwidth is inexpensive for us because we buy a lot. I could cut my prices in half and still make money. Do you think it is right that a lot of hosting companies sell bandwidth for 50 times what they pay for it?
So basically, the prices are good for good reasons and we can honor these prices to anyone. I could probably save you quite a bit of money.
