Just sitting here listening to the morning anchor talk to a guest and they were talking about the insurgency leadership leaving prior to the assault and how it really wouldn't matter because what good is leaders without foillowers and how Fallujah was such a success.
Have we heard about 20,000 of them being either killed or captured? No. But we sure heard that number prior to the invasion. I'll have to find the article (it didn't come from a US media source, of course) that says prior to the invasion the leadership told their troops that the ones who wanted to live to fight another day should come with them and those that wished to become martyrs in
this battle should stay and fight. What we have seen is small pockets of resistance. Nowhere
near thousands, let alone 20,000.
While sheep who believe only the US media is correct are celebrating the "victory" in Fallujah, we shall soon find out where those leaders have set up shop and that they do indeed have a lion's share of their followers with them.
