1. He was VERY religious. The church has been doing their best to distance themselves from Hitler, but they once blessed Hitler and his 3rd Reich.

2. You're pulling a "no true scotsman" fallacy. Because he did horrible things, that makes it obvious that he was not religious, because no true religious person would do such things.
