WWII caused originally by Adolf Hitler getting in to power. Adolf Hitler developed his beliefs not as a result of his religious beliefs. The people of Germany certainly did not vote him in because he was a Pagan (something which noone can truly prove), nor did they support him and his war and go off to die because they believed it was fulfilling their religious duty.

It isn't hard to work it out my friend. Any link you try to draw between Germany's war and religion is going to be a long drawn out one without any true relevance.
1. Hitler was elected.
2. Hitler was a catholic. Read Mein Kampf.
3. The German people were happy enough to go along with the nationalistic pride Hitler played up, they were beat down, in an economic depression and the Treaty of Versais went too far and rubbed the German people's noses in the fact that they lost. It's a short step from nationalism to war.
