What dialer did you try? Was it Niteline? If so than that's your problem.
I have an international calling plan with MCI and when I made a test call to an audiotext number that terminated to Montserrat, MCI called me back to "verify" if I placed the call.
Most dialer networks like us, Telcoweb, and GIB use 900 numbers which have a designated biller meaning that even if you have MCI as a long distance provider it won't matter because it's billed by a totally different biller, thus they would never be aware that the call was placed. It's the equivalent of locking the call with a biller using a 1010 dial around code.
