What sort of sponsor does not pay people?
That $300+ bucks could pay for that guys food the entire month. Instead you dismiss 300+ bucks as nothing more then an hour of drinks worth.
If he is some spammer then ignore it, but if you are ripping off someone you should pay them. I've been ripped by sponsors once or twice & never cheated or anything.
