Something similar happened once when I was checking out Seductive Amateurs. They offered free content to promote with so I wanted to see what they had to offer.
I typed in the URL, went to sign up, and same deal, was forced to accept a free life time membership to boobranch.com. (and in the fine print I was charged $39.95 for a membership to another site in order to get this free lifetime deal, and there was no way to decline it)
So I get and email from the boobranch people with a username/pass for both sites, but nothing from Seductive Amateurs.
I called Ibill and got the $39.95 refunded, and 2 DAYS LATER, I got my username/pass from Seductive Amateurs. (And I signed up for a 3 day trial)
In their defense, this only happened when I typed in their URL, when I clicked someone else's link, it was straight up, join or leave, and no "special offers". So I guess they only pull this stunt with their own traffic, not with their resellers.
Maybe its the same deal for topbucks? Did you click a link or just type in the URL?
BTW my conversions with them are really good for the little bit of traffic I send them.
