I am in Kentucky, and I never dreamed we'd see them way the hell down here..... but man, at like midnight last night my husband came back in from his friends house, made me get shoes and a coat on and took me out, saying I was about to have my mind blown. And sure enough..... I had always heard about them but had never seen them.... what a beautiful sight.
I tried to take some pics, but I suck with a camera so I don't think they came out.... dammit!! But it was so damn pretty.

Fellow Kentucky Girl here also, Husband from ND and grew up seeing the Northern Lights. He talks about them all the time and has taken me up there to see them for myself, I must say they are something. I was lucky enough to see them in full color one night and not just the normal white.
