We live in a republic, not a democracy, otherwise we would have a tyranny of the majority. Popular opinions are not necessarily right. Slavery was very popular, so was segregation just to name a couple of popular opinions that were wrong.

What does that phrase have to do with anything. That was a popular slogan that was thrown onto our money during the McCarthy era as a way of combatting those "godless commies".

Prove it. I've never seen any study that says that.

How so? It seems to me that Hollywood and straight people in general have made marriage meaningless on their own.

How will gay marriage encourage people to be gay? That just doesn't make any sense. If you're arguing that being gay is a choice, then try it. If it's a choice anyone can make, then try to convince yourself that you would like to take a cock in your mouth.

Also, why is wrong with being gay? I don't know of anything that's wrong with it, except for something mentioned in a 3,000 year old book about how we should throw rocks at gay people. Of course, this same book also says that we should throw rocks at people for wearing cloth that is a blend of cotton and wool.

Let's do an exercise where I trade the word "gay" for other words.

"If you want to be straight be straight but in the privacy of your own home dont bring that shit out in society!"

"If you want to be black be black but in the privacy of your own home dont bring that shit out in society!"

"If you want to be christian be christian but in the privacy of your own home dont bring that shit out in society!"

It sounds pretty stupid now, doesn't it?
