No one needs to answer to you, unless you're someone to them.
This reminds of cases where a public figure gets hammered with the same questions over and over, and they have to put on a fake smile and answer accordingly each time. That gets old after a while, and I'm sure you're not the only one who has brought this up. Take it on the chin and move along, you're starting to make an ass of yourself.
