not only will that never happen, but they wouldn't like it if it did. What the fuck would Hawaii do without US gov money & military..... they'd be fuckin' screwed is what. Some other country would come in here and own this motherfucker in the same week. And what would the Hawaiians fend them off with? Coconuts and surf wax?
Not to mention that 90% of everything we have here comes in on a ship... constantly. I've seen what happens when the California dock workers go on strike. It's a matter of days before there is nothing left, and it takes months to catch back up after they get going again.
Hawaii would collapse virtually instantaneously on many levels if the US gave it back.
