He did not win OVERWHELMINGLY. He was one of the WEAKEST incumbants wins in history. 3% win is NOT overwhelmingly. 3.5 mil votes is NOT overwhelmingly. Last incumbant to win by less than 3.5 million votes was Harry Truman in 1948( by 2.2 million ) and only 48 million votes TOTAL were cast back then.
