Actually, it cost the industy a huge amount of money. The warehouses of the newly envouge video tapes had to be cleared of every production that had her in it. That includes complilations and her own features. None of them could ever be sold as they were now kiddie porn. Not to mention the amount it cost the industy in legal fees.
Tell you, this is part of the reason I like the mature niche.
