Everyone that I compete with in LA fucking hates me because they think that they own that market. Mutt aka Wonton aka BMB, Alicia S. and a few others Im sure dont like the fact that I have good relationships with some of the agencies down there. Its a stupid rat race and everyone is feeling the pinch when clients are not in the buying mood. They feel that they should come first when it comes to LA models. Well, we all know that as freelance photogs, it doesnt matter. The client will buy from the shooter that they want the girl shot by.
I have heard it all at this point. Im sure that you have had models come back on your with stupid shit. Its the nature of the biz. No one on this board is perfect (although some think they are). I am in this business to make money. Friends??? Wouldnt want to associate my self with many of the people I come across. There are a few friends that I have in this biz, but for my competitors, they will never have a good thing to say about me as long as I am shooting models they think they should shoot.
