Why bother developing it when someone else will pay you the same amount or more to rent it? Who wants to deal with processors and designs and conversion ratios and so on if they don't have to in order to make the same money?

no, I understand the hun in his actions. If he really leases it out for 2 million a year - that's a good job. But yet - it makes me wonder. If someone can make 2 million a year on such a crappy landing page - one that virtually all internet users have been made numb to - why doesn't he hire a designer and get a better design? No work involved.
