As for labels, Kerry was clearly a L I B E R A L but he was ashamed to admit it and also knew that Liberals (like McGovern & Dukakis) don't get elected, so he created a new identity and told the people ( after several polls of course), what he thought they wanted to hear rather than what he actually believed. Bush accepted the conservative label and everybody knew precisely where he stood on the issues.

And for the record, Bush's IQ is actually *higher* than Kerry's (they did a review based on their military IQ tests to determine this). I gotta believe both Kerry and Bush (and about everyone else on Earth not posting on GFY) are more intelligent than Webby though.
