Who is gonna catch then? I really doubt that Jorge will be traded. I read the article in the & the thought of seeing Varitek in pinstripes makes me sick to my stomach.

I would think that the Bombers will find a way to make a trade with a team that has some good pitching prospects, then in a 3way deal, be able to aquire Johnson with out having to get rid of one of the few yankees left from the early days of this dynasty.

Also, I am still having a hard time dealing with the collapse during the ALCS, but remembering that untill 1995, there was no wildcard in baseball, at least for a moment made me feel a little better. The record book should read like this:

1918 - Red Sox win WS
2004 - Red Sox win WS**

**1995 rule change allows for wildcard, so baseballs rules were changed & the SUX finally got the monkey off thier back!

2005 - The Empire Strikes Back! - Nomar @ 2nd & R.Johnson to teach Schilling a lesson!
