I voted against Bush for 2 simple reasons:
I feel I was mis-lead as an American re: the war in Iraq.
He's too right leaning.
However, Bush being re-elected is not what was most upsetting to me - I live in a Democracy, and accept the vote whether it goes my way or not. The most upsetting was why. Did anyone see the NBC poll re: most important issues to voters?
21% - Moral Values
Followed by Economy and terrorism.
Moral values being the most important issue to voters is very very troubling to me. Not because I run an adult oriented business. Bottom line on that is get your house in order, follow the law.
No, it's upsetting because it's a step back for America and does not bode well for the future in terms of personal privacy and individual freedom.
The people HAVE spoken. And they seem to be saying that they want their president to directly intercede in legislating morality.
All pundit-ing aside, 12 clicks, doesn't that bother you? From a constitutional perspective?
