One of the worlds most evil and dangerous men has just been given a pass to do almost what he wants. The world will be a very scary place for the next four years and for many, many more to follow. The 50% or so of the US who had the sense to vote against him have my deepest sympathy. The rest of the planet must just keep its fingers crossed and hope/pray that the damage can be kept under control as much as possible.
