I believe from what I have heard, but don't quote me that to me a "street cop" you must be of a certain height and weight. However, there are other ways to be a police officer. When I finished my masters this summer in Biotechnology, basically I came to realize that I don't want to work in a regular lab, I want to work for the police. I will be like a CSI agent type. There are lots of possibilites for females in the police department, don't limit yourself.
