Yeah, I remember when I went to Disneyland in Feb 2003 - it rained a couple days - flooding, and everyone was totally freaking out - (though to be honest, it was pretty heavy rainfall).. but the thing I found the most STRANGE and ODDEST occurrence?

THEY HAVE NO REAL DRAINAGE!!

So California gets these rains every now and then, but they don't prepare for it, so then there are mudslides and property damage etc.. all that could be easily prevented with proper drainage (yes I know the cost is probably obscene).

Then again, we're just as bad up here.. we're on the San Andreas fault line (among others) and so when the BIG ONE comes we're gonna get hit too, but are we earthquake prepared? Are we as earthquake prepared as we could be? NO.. so.. I guess laziness, cost, procrastination and etc are just universal problems..

(phew - don't know why I ranted like that - lol)

Anyway, glad you're back, and make sure to give Goofy a huge hug for me whenever you do make it down to Disneyland..
