you're wrong. the hun has his layout copyrighted. he's had many copycats shut down.
we're not just talking the background and text.
there's the bullshit copyright info next to the site title. there's the monthly archive links at the bottom. there's the mention of the overflow page. even the copyright notice at the bottom is copied for the most part.
