You think that is bad, one year I coached my son's basketball team, and it rained every day we had a scheduled practice for the first few weeks. Eventually I just had the kids come to my house to watch basketball on tv so they had some clue as to what they were supposed to try and do.
I think we had 1, maybe 2 real practices before our first game . . . it showed.
