The cost to lease a server would depend on its setup. The bare minimum is around $50/month for a Dell 1U (1550), P3 1.3 Ghz 512k cache, 512Mb ram and 18 Gb 10k RPM Scsi drive. The 1U of rackspace will be an additional $50/month.
There's a minimum usage of 5 Mbits per month as well which would bring the price of $1000/month for 5 Mbits on a good server with Verio and Qwest connectivity. Servers are located in NYC as well.

Oh, and if you were wondering 5 Mbits is roughly 1620 Gbs/month or $0.61/Gb, with a server, and it only goes down the more you use.
