Ok, you brainwashed ignorant and frustrated americans.
I lived in Cuba for half a year. Fidel is indeed hated by some, but loved by most Cubans. And even the ones that hate him, respect him.
The cry-babies Cubans in Miami were Batista supporters, a dictator that can be compared to Saddam.
Fidel is a dictator too but one that allows everybody to go to school for free, get free healthcare, a roof over their head and a minimum income. He killed by far a lot less civilians than George Walker Bush did and he is sending out a lot more real help to poor African countries even though Cuba is a relatively poor country themself thanks to the US embargo...
In short I prefer being poor in Cuba than poor in countries destroyed by the US like Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala where at night you can see shoeless children living on the streets. In fact I would even prefer to be poor in Cuba than poor in the US. In cuba there are no homeless.
And I do admit Castro's regime can be very frustrating for businessmen but it is a paradise for artists. They get full support from the government.
I have never met any people with such a joy of life as the Cubans. I travelled all over the world but there is no country with such highly educated people as the Cubans.
Castro has been making a complete fool of the US during the past 50 years. Viva Fidel! Respect!
