also, if you want your kid to have good social skills, just the kid in soccer, karate, chess, etc., etc...
The only thing that a home schooled kid will lack is the mean-ness of the HS kids that go to public school. And, if you want to fix this, push your kid very seriously into karate, that way nobody will mess with him/her.
Once again: I vote Home Schooling ;)
