Cultures "breed" all that stuff by design. Whether we admit it or not, we are "taught" that we need a load of junk - whether this is the lastest SUV or some other piece of shit.
I can think of a few people who are "alien" to all of this - but very few. Sure looks like they are happier without it than with.
What "value" does it have?? Nada.
