Well said reynold and a good summary by KRL. But the above point cannot be stressed enough.
If you have the time to study your personal Astrology you may find it helpful to know the times when it will be a little easier or a little more difficult to achieve certain tasks in your business or personal life. But like reynold said, don't let it run your life as some pre-ordained destiny set in stone. "I am not leaving the house for the next two days because the Moon is in Libra" kind of stuff.
Your life IS predetermined by an infinite set of possibilities, therefore it is NOT predetermined in the usual way of thinking .
YOU choose (consciously or not) which one plays out in your life. What is far more powerful than Astrology is your belief in it. That determines its effectiveness. Just like if you really believe that keeping a pack of cards in your glovebox will help you from getting into a traffic accident it will work for you.
Therefore the best advice is to really learn HOW to picture the future YOU want and if Astrology helps you do that then cool beans.
