Average soda is around 42 grams of high fructose corn syrup per 12 oz can, or roughly 14% of your suggested daily values on a 2000 calorie intake plane. Assuming you limit yourself to just one can a day which is rare for most soda drinkers, you would be consuming 6% shy of your daily caloric needs per can in high fructose corn syrup. That is almost 20% of your daily needs man.
