Getting the BJ was never the point. Just made for some good press. Clinton had greater sins.
On Iraq, remeber the no fly zone crap that went on for years. Things really can't stay that way for ever, a country needs to be sovereign. So something had to change. That was prolly a side issue for Bush though. Things were and are out of control in the middle east. We really need that oil, esp. with demand from China on the rise. So for a number of reasons, Bush really did need to do something big in the middle east.
