They are always saying war is not probable.... 'no, no, no, son. you are just going to get a few skills and become trained. We then send you to college for free then you can do anything you want'. They target kids who don't know the system or war.
When I was in the 5th grade, a couple years before the Gulf War, army recruiters came in to talk to us in small groups. They played the song 'proud to be an american' over and over and told us all about the great skills we can get and the free education. I was from a generation that has never seen war... at that age kids don't fully understand war. I think about what they did and it makes me sick. I was vulnerable at that age. They were instilling half truths into my mind so I would lean towards signing up after high school. Luckily I had a grandfather who was in WWII and I saw his physical wounds and he always was showing me pictures from the war and all of his friends who died. So I saw what war could do.
Moore showed some of this in the movie then showed the young immature kids running off to war playing rock songs to get them pumped up and killing 8 year old innocent kids. They were also abusing prisoners who were soldiers... not terrorists... soldiers of Iraq.
The recruiting in this country is sick. Poor kids don't look to the army for EMPLOYMENT because they are too dumb... they look to the army to help pay for higher education because they are too poor.

Then how come everytime I see a recruitment commercial the person is in the middle east carrying a gun?
Come on.. you act like people don't know what a army is for
