I found Moore came dangersously close to violating the journalistic integrity he is so proud to claim he has and others lack. There was a lot of creative editing, lots of splicing but this was not nearly as bad as what was going on in the interviews. In a court of law, any competant council of the opposite side would have claimed Moore was leading the witness and any competant judge would have agreed. He basically lead the interviews, controlled them and put words in the mouth of the people. A good interview is one where the person doing the interview asks questions and then allows the other person to speak freely about it, you can lead a person without being blatantly forceful as he was. He absolutely made sure that the person said exactly what he wanted them to. This honestly suprised me as I found Bowling for Columbine to be devoid of this and enjoyed it because of that fact. The rest of the movie was good but I could have done without the beginning splices and leading of interviews which I feel threatened the credibility of the rest of the movie, I was glad it stopped and had a more natural flow after that.
