Yeah it is old. I mean it's the same like leaving your wallet in your car, and leave the windows open, and leave a note will be back at 5pm
I also tested it once, I drove the car and my GF looked at netstubmler. After 20 minutes we had around 40!! open networks found. And 10 with SSID ON(but they DID use some security)
Oh well, I guess this will change when ppl get more knowlegde.
