Given how small some of today's technology is why is that piece of hardware so big and in an easily detected location. If he placed it over his ribcage instead, even with that size it may go easier undetected as he would not only have his shirt covering it but also his jacket, giving him ample freedom of movement and extra space.
Oreo, would be interesting if it really were some sort of transmitter/receiver device.
